Bengaluru top picked by working women

Bengaluru: NP NEWS 24 ONLINE – According to India Skill Report 2019, Bengaluru continued to be highest in the chart followed by Chennai, Guntur and Lucknow. The list also released that Karnataka stands second in the chart.

Anil Rao Pila, director of Weschool explained that the reasons behind Bengaluru continuing to be on top on several organisation pushes industry-academic relationships to meet the requirement of the skilled taskforce, institution setting up assessment centre to track students improvement, dedicated career management cell and effective communication skills.

The survey was jointly conducted by Wheebox, People Strong, CII, and supported and backed by All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE), United Nations Development Programme(UNDP) and Association of Indian Universities(AIU).

Bengaluru is also known for highest paid salary where the hardware and networking jobs fetch about 15 lakh per annum, software jobs fetch about 12 lakh while consumer jobs 9 lakh.

According to an expert, the credit for the Startup City’s high employability credential goes to active collaboration between government, industry and academic in making student skilled and ready for the job.

Engineers around the country were found to be more employable than MBA or arts graduate, with an employability rate of 57%.   The employability rate of MBA graduates was 36% and arts graduates were 36% and arts graduate 35%.

The recent initiative to correct this problem seems to have paid off, which is great not only for young people but also for employers.
