Another Congress MLA Nirmala Gavit ready to Join Shiv Sena

NPnews24 online, Mumbai: In a major setback, Igatpuri MLA Nirmala Gavit had quit and ready to jump the ship from Congress to Shiv Sena.

A legislator from Maharashtra’s Igatpuri, and has been a congress stronghold in the state. She has already quit the grand old party and is set to join Shiv Sena ahead of the Maharashtra assembly polls.

Gavit is the daughter of veteran Congress leader Manikrao Gavit who himself has been nine-time parliamentarian and two-time minister in Maharashtra.

Earlier too, NCP politician Sanjay Ahir too joined Shiv Sena. These developments come ahead of the Maharashtra assembly polls which scheduled to take place this October.
