And Avni was killed ….

But somewhere it seemed like something wrong …

NP NEWS 24 ONLINE- The dwindling number of tigers in the nineties was a matter of concern … Tigers were hunted by people… Since then number of tigers started disappearing. As a result, human interference started increasing in the forests which are supposed to be the homes of tigers and wild animals.

When their habitats were being destroyed leading to negative effects on the society. Then the government started various campaigns to save tigers, imposed restrictions on hunting, imposed strict punishment for hunters, created core zones (dense forests) and buffer zones.

The result was visible and the number of tigers started increasing….but people started doing encroachments in the buffer zone  … and then actual struggle for tiger’s existence is started. As a result of this, tigers started attacking the human beings.

The same things happened to the Avni Tigress in Yavatmal … She came in buffer zone to meet the hunger of her cubs …She started attacking animals … then when she encountered human beings and attacked on them… but not to fill her stomach but for the safety of her cubs.

Of course, no human being would want a tiger to come on their doorsteps, it is not easy for a man to live with the fears of wild animals.

Now the question remains that… Was it really necessary to kill Avni? Could she not safely migrate?

In fact, there is a technology to make unconscious to animals… Previously, the technique has also been used to get rid of the leopards that entered the city. But why not use it for Avni in Yavatmal?

It is clear that Avni was given the injection to make her unconscious at the back of her body… then why was she not unconscious?
