Ajit Urban Co-op Credit Soc branch manager cheats the bank

Pune : NpNews24 Online  –  Pune Crime | The branch manager of Ajit Nagari Sahakari Patsanstha with the help of others created fake receipts and changed the registered mobile numbers on it and transferred them to other accounts and looted the credit institution. Hadapsar Police have filed an FIR against three persons in this matter. (Pune Crime)

Branch Manager Abhishek Sampat Chorghade, Cashier Sungdha Babbe, Clerk Abhijit Bansode are the names of the accused.

In this regard, Satish Jadhav, general manager of Ajit Nagari Cooperative Credit Soc, has filed a complaint at the Hadapsar Police Station. The incident took place on July 20, 2020 at Uruli Devachi, Pune branch of Ajit Patsanstha.

According to the police, Abhishek Chorghade, when he was the branch manager, connived with the cashier and a clerk to create a fake receipt of double deposit in the name of a woman. Before the expiry of that period, the amount was transferred to the account of Anil Shankar Pawar by depositing it in the credit institution and changing the registered mobile number of Anil Pawar’s account. He cheated the institution by withdrawing Rs. 6.20 lakh from the account by filling fake withdrawal slips.
