A man fired at in Mandai to avenge the murder committed by his brother
Pune : NpNews24 Online – Pune Crime | A shocking incident took place at busy Rameshwar Chowk, Mandai on Tuesday night when two mobike-borne persons fired at a man and attempted to kill him with a sickle. The seriously injured man was immediately admitted to the hospital. (Pune Crim)
The injured was identified as Shekhar Ashok Shinde (36) from Manjari. The police suspect that the incident was a result of old animosity. The incident happened at Rameshwar Chowk at around 8 pm on Tuesday. (Pune Crime)
According to the police, the assailants came on a bike and opened fire at Shinde. A bullet grazed his shoulder. There was a commotion as the incident took place on the crowded street. Shekhar Shinde was immediately admitted to the hospital. The attack was carried out to avenge the death of a man, whom Shekhar Shinde’s brother had killed.
The names of the attackers are known and the Faraskhana Police are conducting further investigation.
