MUMBAI : Ajit Pawar On PI Shekhar Bagde | After an FIR of molestation was registered against BJP’s office-bearer Nandu Jadhav, the spotlight has shifted to Sr PI Shekhar Bagde. Since Bagde took the initiative of registering an FIR, it has created a row between the BJP and the Shinde group. The Leader of the Opposition, Ajit Pawar, has levelled serious allegations against Bagde. Pawar has alleged that Bagde has unaccounted assets and has demanded a probe into the matter.
At the press conference, Ajit Pawar levelled allegations against Bagde and read out the list of properties owned by Bagde. “Bagde owns plot in Nashik, commercial plots, flats and flats in important areas in Navi Mumbai. How did he amass so much property?” Pawar said and has made a demand to Home Minister Devendra Fadnavis to order a probe against Bagde.
He said that cash of ₹6 crore has been found at the residence of Additional Divisional Commissioner of Pune Dr Anil Ramod and this shows that the state government does not have any control over the administration and hence, such corrupt incidents are being exposed.
Ajit Pawar said, “Shekhar Bagde owns three-storey commercial property at Deolali in Nashik. He owns a flat in Sumangal residency and owns shops and commercial plots in Tirumala Heights. He has also invested money in Riddhi Siddhi Construction. He owns a flat in Mahavir Amrut Society at Sanpada in Navi Mumbai. He owns agricultural land at Pandurli and Igatpuri.”
“How can a police officer own so much property? How did he manage to amass this property? Many people have complained against him. Hence, I am going to make a demand that an enquiry should be held against Bagde,” Ajit Pawar said.
