72 undisciplined drivers in major trouble

Wrong side driving, breaking traffic signals, driving without helmet and license are most common offences in Pune. Ignoring traffic rules invites  road accidents. When someone doesn’t obey the traffic rules, they put their life in danger. Now a days, not obeying rules and regulations have become the tendency of people.

Pimpri- Chinchwad commissioner of Police running a campaign for teaching a lesson to undisciplined drivers, after taking charges in hands. He gave the instructions to traffic police along with local police to take actions on those drivers, who do not obey the traffic rule.

That’s why police seems taking action on in every chowk. This campaign of taking action is running fast at every jurisdiction area of Police stations. As under the jurisdiction area of Talegaon Dabhade Police station cases being filed against 72 drivers.

Talegaon Dabhade Police station  senior Police Inspector Amarnath Waghmode  and Assistance Police Inspector Gawade and their squad took action against undisciplined and careless drivers on September 18, Tuesday.

It includes black glasses vehicles, triple seat driving-27, talking on phone while driving- 05, Wrong side driving- 06, don’t have licenses while driving- 01,  driving vehicle in dangerous way- 11, don’t have number plates-01, without helmet- 07, No parking- 01, without seatbelt -01, don’t obey the Police instructions 02, disturbances to traffic- 09 etc.

For solving the issue of traffic jam in city Commissioner of Police started taking action against drivers. That is why Police are filing cases against the drivers, who drives vehicles in wrong side of road according to the article 279  of Indian Constitution. Police are taking them into the court.

Though Pune city has PMPML (Pune Mahanagar  Parivahan Mahamandal Limited) for internal transportation, Pune has highest number of two wheelers in India. Pune is densely populated city in Maharashtra, therefore traffic jam is major problem in Pune city.
