Woman molested after spiking her cold drink

Hinjawadi, Pune : A 30 year old woman has lodged an FIR against her relative for allegedly molesting her after spiking her cold drink.

Police have identified the accused as Radheshyam Chandrakant Gavhane, a resident of Navi Mumbai.

As per the FIR registered with Hinjawadi police station, the incident took place on November 24 near Hotel Spoon in Hinjawadi. The relative had called the hotel under pretext of discussing job. However, he allegedly spiked her drink and then under pretext of dropping her home, he molested her. He also took some photos. He started blackmailing her with the photos and threatened to show them to her husband if she did not have sex with him.

After fed up with his harassment, the woman lodged an FIR with Hinjawadi police station on Sunday.
