White House Officially Withdraws US From World Health Organization : Media report

Washington : The World Health Organization has been under President Donald Trump’s target since March April this year due to his suspected role in the spread of the Corona infection. Now media reports are quoting that the US on Tuesday officially decided to part with the World Health Organization. News agency ANI quoted US media as saying that the Donald Trump administration has formally separated the US from the WHO. It is being told that the US has also informed this to the United Nations.

According to the media report, America’s separation from this organization will come into effect from Monday, which was also given to the UN Secretary General. America has been most affected by this virus where more than 30 lakh cases have been reported so far. More than 1.3 lakh people have died in the country so far. US President Donald Trump had made several statements against the World Health Organization over the past few months to combat the coronavirus epidemic. Trump had previously alleged that the organization was controlled by China and that necessary information about the coronavirus was released much later.

US President Trump announced in May that his country was ending its relationship with the World Health Organization (WHO). Trump then said, “China has full control over WHO which pays only $ 40 million a year while the US pays $ 450 million.”
