Uttar Pradesh : Former BJP MP Sharad Tripathi passes away

Lucknow : Former MP and BJP leader Sharad Tripathi from Sant Kabirnagar in Uttar Pradesh has passed away. He was 49 years old. He died on Wednesday night at Medanta Hospital. It has been said that a few days ago he was admitted to Mendata after his health deteriorated where he breathed his last. Sharad Tripathi’s father Ramapati Ram Tripathi is an MP from Deoria.

In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, Sharad Tripathi became an MP from Sant Kabir Nagar Lok Sabha seat. On his death, Uttar Pradesh Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya tweeted and wrote – I am heartbroken by the news of the sad demise of my friend former MP Sharad Tripathi ji, the state has lost a great leader of the future. Humble tribute. May God give strength to the family and supporters to bear the loss.

Uttar Pradesh BJP President Swatantra Dev Singh tweeted and wrote, “Shocked by the news of the demise of former MP from Sant Kabirnagar, senior BJP leader Shri Sharad Tripathi ji. May God give place to the departed soul at his feet and give strength to the family members to bear this loss.”
