UP: 80-year-old raped by two men in Mahoba district 

New Delhi: A 80-year-old woman was allegedly gang raped in Kharela Police station limits in Mahoba district of Uttar Pradesh, the police said. A case has been registered in this regard and efforts are on to nab the accused, RK Gautam, ASP Mahoba said.
According to information received, the incident took place in Kharela village in Mahoba district and the elderly woman was gang-raped by two men.
According to the police, the 80-year-old woman was alone in the house while family members had left the house to attend a religious service. At the same time, the accused forcibly entered the house and gang-raped the elderly woman. . Both the accused are absconding and investigation is underway, RK Gautam said.
In another terrible incident, a 15-year-old girl was raped by 17 people for five consecutive months. Eight people have been arrested in the last five months for raping, sexually abusing and trafficking the victim girl. The incident took place in Chikkamagaluru, Karnataka and the accused included the girl’s aunt.
