Rajasthan: BJP MLA Prataplal Bhil accused of sexual harassment; FIR registered 

Udaipur: BJP MLA Prataplal Bhil from Gogunda Assembly seat in Mewar’s Udaipur district has been charged with serious sexual harassment. A woman accused Prataplal Bhil of sexually abusing her by luring her into marriage. The woman appeared before Udaipur Range IG Satyaveer Singh and lodged her complaint.
Following this complaint, an FIR has been lodged against MLA Prataplal Bhil at Gogunda police station. However, as the case is related to the MLA, it will be sent to the CID CB through the state headquarters for investigation. On the other hand, MLA Prataplal Bhil has said that he is not aware of any such case.
The woman is originally from Neemuch in Madhya Pradesh, said Udaipur Superintendent of Police Dr. Rajiv Pachar said. She had met MLA Prataplal Bhil during a social function three years ago. After this, these MLAs became closer to her and often had sexual relations by luring her of marriage.
According to the complain, the MLA and the woman had sexual relations in Sukher and Neemuch in Udaipur. Later, the MLA denied marrying the woman.
Seeing the seriousness of the case, Udaipur police has registered an FIR against MLA Prataplal Bhil on the complaint of the woman. The case will be sent to CID CB for investigation. Earlier, the police conducted a medical examination of the woman concerned.
On the other hand, MLA Prataplal Bhil has denied any relationship with the women and the case.  Prataplal Bhil has been elected MLA from Gogunda constituency for the second time in a row.
