Meet and Greet with the greatest Sherpa mountaineers and several other events are planned during the program. Umesh Zirpe (Veteran mountaineer and Leader of Giripremi’s Mt. Kangchenjunga Eco Expedition 2019) describes the details of the program. He said, “at the dawn of May 15, 2019, Giripremi’s ten mountaineers successfully reached the top of Mt. Kangchenjunga and created
the history. Journey to the top of the world’s third-highest mountain was exhilarating and the entire expedition was ‘once in a lifetime experience for all of us.’ Climbing Kangchenjunga was more difficult than climbing Mt. Everest. The effect of Fony Cyclone, constant snowfall, challenges of climbing on hanging glacier and pro- avalanche region made the journey tougher but exciting. All the experience of 40 odd days is captured in the camera and we are presenting it in the form of audio-visual film. I am sure this film named ‘Kangchenjunga- Ratnanche Shikhar’ will create excitement in viewers and will give them Goosebumps.

The meet and greet with Sherpa mountaineers are also organized to celebrate the International Mountain Day. Ushaprabha Page (founder- President, Giripremi) explained the importance of International Mountain Day and Giripremi’s celebration plans. She said, “Food and Agriculture Organization of United Nations celebrates International Mountain Day on December 11 every year. The motive of the observance of International Mountain Day is to create awareness about the importance of mountains to life, to highlight the opportunities and constraints in mountain development and to build alliances that will bring positive change in mountain people and environment around the world. Giripremi, too, celebrates the day to pay gratitude towards mountains. This year, we have invited Sherpas, the real sons of mountains and the community who has been living in the mountains for centuries to felicitate them for their contribution. All these Sherpas played a vital role in Giripremi’s Mt. Kangchenjunga Eco Expedition 2019.
There  are several other exciting events lined up during the program.
