Train in Pakistan Hits Bus Carrying Sikh Devotees, 19 Dead, Many Severely Injured

Islamabad : A painful accident from Pakistan has been reported. A bus carrying Sikh devotees has collided with a train in Sheikhupura, Punjab in Pakistan. 19 people have died in this horrific accident while 8 people are in critical condition. According to local media reports, the Pakistan Railway and Rescue Team have started rescue work immediately after the accident. The injured are being rushed to the hospital. The accident occurred around 1.30 pm on an unmanned railway crossing near Sheikhupura.

It is being told that all these passengers were returning from Nankana Sahib. After the accident, Pakistan Railway Minister Rashid Sheikh has ordered the authorities to investigate the matter. Pakistan PM Imran Khan has also expressed grief over the accident.

About four months before this accident, there had been a tragic accident on an unmanned railway crossing in Sindh. Where a bus going to Lahore collided with the train. In this accident, 19 people died on the spot, while more than 30 people were injured.

In 2019, Pakistan Railway has seen more than a hundred accidents, some of which were very terrible. In the first five months of this year, the engine of Pakistan Railways has failed 111 times, due to which the passengers have to face a lot of trouble.
