There will be No Relief from Lockdown Until the Red Zone Turns Into Green Zone, Know the Difference Between Red & Green Zones



New Delhi : The Coronavirus has caused havoc all over the world. Thousands of people are dying every day. In India, the number of corona patients here has crossed 24,600. While the death toll has risen to 782. India has distributed the areas in hotspots, red zone, orange and green zone. State governments have sealed the borders. Lockdown has been implemented in the country. Less affected areas of Corona in the country may get relief from the lockdown on 3 May.

On this, Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain and Medanta Hospital CMD Doctor Naresh Trehan gave detailed information. Satyendra Jain said that reopening of shops have been approved in many areas of Delhi on Friday night. However, shops in more affected areas will still be closed. According to the directives issued by the central government, shops will open only in places where the effect of corona is not much. The Delhi Health Minister also said whether the lockdown would end after May 3 in Delhi. It would not be right to decide on this so soon. It would be better to take a decision 1-2 days before instead of taking 8-9 days before deciding whether to increase or eliminate the lockdown. Initially Corona cases were doubling in a day. later it was doubling in 6-7 days after the lockdown. In the present case, corona cases are doubling in 13 days.

Giving information about this, Dr. Naresh Trehan said that due to the lockdown, India has been saved from a major threat. Secondly, the hotspot areas where the government is thinking of increasing the lockdown is absolutely correct. This is the only way to break the corona chain. He further said that before removing the lockdown, we have to separate the hotspot, green zone and yellow zone.

Know what is the difference between red and green zones
Red Zone –
 The districts with hotspots where the more number of Corona patients have been found is declared Red Zone. In this case, people living in this zone have to strictly follow the lockdown. They cannot get out for any work. Now the government will provide door-to-door facilities in these areas so that people can stay inside the houses to avoid infection.

Green Zone – Green zones are such districts or areas where not a single positive case of coronavirus has been reported so far. Apart from this, those districts where there has not been a single corona positive case for the last 28 days will also be included in the list of green zones. Necessary services and business movement in these areas will be based on government regulations.
