The drunken insistence of 22-year-old took for life

Jamshedpur: NP NEWS 24 online – A day after Dussehra, a total of 25 deaths throughout the week were reported on the same day in the city of Jamshedpur.

And, in a tragic incident when the whole city of Jamshedpur, the people were enjoying the last day of Durga Pooja festival, a 22-year-old lost his life when he insisted his friends to let him ride the bike (YAMAHA YZF-R15) even after being highly drunk.

The incident took place on Friday at midnight around 3:10 am in Adityapur area near to the Marine drive.

According to reports, the deceased accelerated the bike at a very high speed, lost control over the bike and hit the divider, leading to the spot death of the deceased. The deceased, Subhir Mahato was a resident of Bengal Colony, Sita Ram Dera, Jamshedpur with two of her sisters and mother. His father left the house abandoning all in his childhood.

The police are probing into the case further. Also, a total of 25 and more deaths due to road accidents after drinking and driving were reported in the city during the week of Navratri.
According to the localities of the deceased’s residential area, Subhir was always a very stubborn natured boy. And that he lost his life due to his own fault.

The tragic night:

Subhir and his friends including Abhijeet, Sonu and others were drunk on the occasion of last day of Durga Pooja and decided to go on a ride to the marine drive near Adityapur when Subhir suddenly started insisting to ride his friend Abhijeet’s bike YAMAHA YZF-R15 even after his friends tried to stop him as he was heavily drunk, he accelerated the bike and at a speed of 130 km/hr, he lost control on the bike hit the divider. After which he collapsed with a pole and fell on the ground following heavy bleeding and died on the spot.
