Telangana : Massive Fire Broke Out At Srisailam Power Station, 9 People Feared Trapped

Hyderabad : A massive fire broke out in the underground hydropower station on the banks of the Srisailam dam in Telangana in the early hours of Friday. 10 people have been rescued from the fierce fire in the left bank power station of Telangana, out of which 6 people are undergoing treatment in the hospital. According to preliminary investigation, the cause of the fire is said to be short circuit. Large amounts of smoke and flames can be seen from here.

Employees tried to extinguish the fire from the ceasefire but were unsuccessful. At present, fire engines have been deployed at the spot from Atmakur Fire Station in Kurnool. Fire extinguishing is in progress. According to the information, many employees are trapped inside. 9 people are said to be trapped inside, efforts are on to save them. As soon as the information was received, Telangana Electricity Branch Minister Jagadishwar Reddy and local MLA Guvla Balraju reached the spot.
