In Dahi Handi, people just do enjoyment, sound pollution is at its peak in these days, lakh of rupees are wasted in these days. These are the thought which comes up at the time of Dahi Handi. Punekar’s as usual has come up with a creative and Nobel way of celebrating Dahi Handi. Pune Vicharpith and Sakhalipir Talim Rashtriy Maruti Mandir organized Medical Dahi Handi which was celebrated in Pune’s Sasson Hospital.

More than 140 packets of flavored milk were distributed in the hospital. The handi was broke by the patients of the hospital. Sakhalipir Talim Rashtriy Maruti Mandir’s President Ravindra Aana Malvadkar, Astrologer Raghunath Yemul, Famous Businessman Ronik Rayder, Sasson Hospital’s DIN Dr. Ajay Chandawale. Bhai Katre, Zone A’s DCP Suhas Bavche, Samarth Police stations PI Surendra Bendre, Vijay Gore, Atik Sayyad, Ganesh Shinde, Anil Kale, Sudam Kondharlkar, Rambhau Tathe, Baba Nalawade, Dashrath Waghmare and Vijay Shinde was present for the event.

At the event, Raghunath Yemule said, “ It is our tradition. We need to celebrate it. But day by day buniess at this festival is increasing. Thus, the main motive of celebration has vanished. Ravindra Aana Malvadkar while talking about the root of the event said, Mumbai Municipal Corporation gave the order to the hospitals to keep two wards separate for the Govinda’s who gets injured. When I read the news I was thinking about something like this. I wanted to do something without showing off. I didn’t want to build a sound wall or do anything else. So I came up with this initiative.
