Single day spike of 68,898 COVID-19 cases, 983 deaths

New Delhi : The growing infection of Coronavirus in the country has been out of control. According to the Union Health Ministry, from Thursday 8 am to 8 am Wedneday, 68,898 new cases of Coronavirus have been registered across the country. With these new cases, the total number of coronavirus cases across the country has increased to 29,05,824.

The number of deaths in the country due to Coronavirus is increasing continuously. In the country, this deadly virus has caused more than 54 thousand deaths. According to the Union Health Ministry, 983 people have died due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours and till now the virus has caused 54,849 deaths across the country.

Along with the increase in coronavirus cases in the country, the number of people recovering is also increasing, which is a good sign. Now, the number of people who have been cured after beating the infection in the country has crossed 21 lakh. According to the Health Ministry data, a total of 21,58,947 people have been cured across the country so far. The number of active cases of coronavirus in the country now stands at 6,92,028.
