SHRC orders probe into illegal constructions carried out by former BJP MP Sanjay Kakade
Pune : NpNews24 Online – Former BJP MP Sanjay Kakade | The Chairman of the State Human Rights Commission (SHRC), KK Tated, has issued orders that a probe should be carried out regarding the illegal constructions carried out by former BJP MP Sanjay Kakade in Bhugaon. Deepak Vishwas Kadam owns land at Mouje Bhugaon in Mulshi taluka at survey number 8/1, 22.23 R. (Former BJP MP Sanjay Kakade)
Kadam is using the road located on the southern part of the land. The PMRDA has proposed widening of the road. Kakade illegally acquired the land near Kadam’s land. Kakade built an arch and an entrance on the road being used by Kadam. Kakade did not take permission of PMRDA before carrying out the construction, says a complaint made to SHRC by Deepak Kadam through his lawyer Kiran Kadam.
Because of the arch and entrance built on the road being used by Kadam, the road will be permanently closed and this has trampled on the human rights of Kadam, said the complaint made by him. A hearing was held before a bench of Justice KK Tated, who is the President of SHRC. The PMRDA had received many complaints about the illegal constructions of Kakade but it had not taken any action, Advocate Kadam informed SHRC. Advocate Kadam demanded that a show cause notice should be sent to PMMRDA. Justice Tatde agreed with the request made by advocate Kadam and issued an order that Kakade’s illegal constructions should be probed.
