Shocking….! Pune Municipal Corporation’s Data corrupted

One may get shocked after knowing that the very important data of Pune Municipal Corporation(PMC) got corrupted. Now, it is a huge loss to PMC, as it was very important data of 2017-2018 year.

The information which got corrupted was containing very important data of PMC, is revealed by the letter. This letter was written by PMC’s Chief Accountant and finance officer Ulka Kalaskar to Bombay Stock Exchange.

Even more shocking fact in this matter is that even PMC does not have any backup of this corrupted data.

The data of current year 2017-18 got corrupted from data server of PMC, such was mentioned in letter.

While taking about this matter, oppositions are raising questions about their irresponsibility. How can PMC’s data get corrupted? questioned the oppositions.  They have also demanded detailed investigation of this matter. What are the reasons behind this? Is it because of technical problems or there are any other reasons behind it, such doubts are being raised by the oppositions.

Opposition leaders also demand a special meeting regarding this to know whether the data is actually corrupted or has been hidden deliberately. They also demanded a meeting to ascertain  whether it was a mistake of PMC administration or any strategy of ruling party.

It makes the matter even more serious that, PMC does not have any back-up of this corrupted data, this is accepted by Mayor Mukta Tilak. She has also instructed the commissioner to look into this matter.

As PMC didn’t keep  the backup of such important data, which shows the irresponsibility of officers. These are the reasons like ‘irresponsibility of officers behind this incident’ said by president of Sajag Nagrik Munch, Vivek Velankar.

Earlier, Pune city ranked number one in terms of livelihood in the entire nation, in which Municipal Corporation’s worker has played an important role. Recently, PMC also got the United Nation’s Prestigious award and raised its name at International level in Solid management techniques.

So, such kind of mistakes are not expected by PMC. Now, citizens are also raising the question on credibility and working of PMC because of irresponsible behavior of PMC’s administration.
