Sachin brings British coach in Pune, through Tendulkar Middlesex Global Academy 

PUNE: Akash Kharade– India is a country where cricket is followed like a religion and Tendulkar is worshiped like a God. Now the God of cricket has come up with a special gift for every young cricketer who aspires to play for India. He has started a Tendulkar Middlesex Global Academy where young cricketers will get a chance to be coached by some of the best coaches in the world. This camp will be organized throughout India. On Thursday the camp reached the Pune’s Bishop School.

In Pune, while interacting with the media he said, “ Last year on November 15 I had an interaction with the school students of Bishop through video conference and now after one year I am standing on the school’s ground. Last year I promised these kids that I will have a session in which I will teach you some facts about cricket.”

“I think the kids are enjoying it and the enthusiasm is at the same level as our previous camps had. The idea is not just to develop them as good cricketers but also good human beings. My father told me that, ‘you need to be remembered as a good human being more than a good cricketer’. This is what I am trying to teach the kids. They need to be good citizens, they need to take responsibilities on the field as well as off the field.”

“These new cricketers play a different kind of cricket, the game is ever evolving and not just T20 but now T10 is coming forward. But the basics of cricket is still the same. But here we are definitely trying to teach them the innovations in the game.”

“In this academy, we are trying to give best coaching advice to the young cricketers and that is why we have ex-cricketers here and level 4 coaches as well which are very few in numbers nowadays. These experiences from coaches will help kids to grow.”
