Reward of 20,000 Declared On Vikas Dubey’s Brother Deep Prakash, Absconding Since the Incident

Lucknow : Deepak Prakash, brother of Inamiya Vikas Dubey who was killed in a police encounter in Kanpur, is still absconding. An FIR is registered against Deep Prakash in Krishnanagar Kotwali in other sections including forgery. Due to continuous absconding of the accused, the capital police has announced a reward of Rs 20,000 on him. Police teams are raiding in search of the accused.

According to police sources, Deep Prakash is hiding somewhere in the capital. He is being searched with the help of surveillance. The location of the accused is constantly changing. On Monday, the Krishnanagar police questioned Deepak Prakash’s family. During this, information was taken about the location of the accused. However, the family did not give any clear information to the police. A police team was also present outside Deep Prakash’s house in a plain uniform, who was keeping an eye on every visitor. On the other hand, Vikas’s wife Richa had reached Krishnanagar Kotwali with her son two days ago to meet the officials. Richa came to present her side.

Significantly, on the night of July 2, Vikas along with his goons killed eight policemen. Vikas was arrested in this case from Ujjain, who died during an encounter with the police in Kanpur. On July 2, Deep Prakash escaped from the house after receiving information about the attack on the policemen.
