Residents of Siddharth Nagar to get well-built houses – Jagdish Mulik
Pune : NpNews24 Online – Pune PMC News | The Municipal Commissioner has agreed to provide houses under the SRA to the slum dwellers of Siddharth Nagar in Ramwadi affected by the road widening. BJP City Unit President Jagdish Mulik said that the citizens living in Khulewadi Transit Camp for the past several years would get their rightful houses. (Pune PMC News)
Jagdish Mulik said the houses of Siddharth Nagar residents were affected in 2007 during road widening. Residents were given temporary accommodation at Khulewadi. However, no facilities were provided to them in that place. Citizens suffer due to inconvenience. To get them their rightful houses, Jagdish Mulik, Dr. Siddharth Dhende, along with citizens, had repeatedly made correspondence and held meetings with the SRA officials, Municipal Commissioner.
After the SRA officials gave a letter to the Municipal Corporation to provide facilities to these residents, they held a meeting with the Municipal Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner of Property Department and demanded that the citizens should get houses under the SRA scheme at Viman Nagar, Ramwadi. After the Commissioner’s order, Ajit Deshmukh, the Deputy Commissioner of Property Department, has given a letter of approval to give the remaining houses in the SRA buildings at Viman Nagar and Ramwadi to the residents living in the transit camp at Khulewadi.
Jagdish Mulik said, “As a result of our table to table follow-up with SRA and municipal officials, it has been approved to provide well-built houses to the displaced residents of Khulewadi. This decision taken by the commissioner has paved the way for the residents of Siddharth Nagar to get well-built houses. There is an atmosphere of joy among the residents of Siddharth Nagar. They thanked BJP city president Jagdish Mulik, r. Siddharth Dhende and other officers.
