10,000 vehicles checked so far in Kasba Peth constituency
Pune : NpNews24 Online – Pune Kasba Peth Bypoll Election | The state administration has made all the arrangements for the Kasba Peth Assembly Constituency. So far, 10,668 vehicles have been inspected by flying squads and checkpoint inspection teams. Necessary precautions are being taken to follow the code of conduct. Nine inspection checkpoints and nine flying squads have been deployed in the constituency by the administration. Vehicles are being strictly inspected in the entire constituency through these teams. Also, the entire campaign system is being filmed.
The election system is getting support to maintain law and order through the police department. So far, Rs 10.53 lakh have been seized. As many as 231 litres of liquor worth Rs 12,250 has been seized. Election Decision Officer Sneha Devkate said that proper arrangements are being made to follow the code of conduct.
