Seerat Kapoor says, “When I am on stage, it feels like home to me; I feel alive” as she opens the show for Laksmi Manchu’s Teach For Change

From the rehearsals to the runway, the actress exuded charm and royalty in her white saree from Varun Chakkilam’s collection, which was specially designed for the show. The whole saree was embellished with motifs and handwork designs. But what caught our attention was the stunning embellished full-sleeve blouse. The actress rounded off this look with statement earrings and a delicate necklace. When asked about her drop-dead gorgeous ensemble for the night, Seerat says, “I knew I had found my pick as soon as I saw this ensemble. Every year Varun outdoes his excellence. I loved the outfit; right from the detailing to the accessories. The moment felt surreal”

 

The actress also added, “I am delighted to have had the opportunity to walk and be associated with such a noble cause every year. I began my career on stage as a performer so being on stage has always been exhilarating for me. When I am on stage, it feels like home to me; I feel alive. The lights, the moment and the connection I receive from the audience is unexplainable”
