A unique Besna program was held in Rajkot. A program called “Drive Through Besnu” was held to maintain social distance due to the Corona epidemic as well as to follow the rules including masks.

“Three days ago, on November 19, my grandmother Kali Ben Ghusabhai Korat passed away tragically,” said Vijay Korat, sarpanch of Mota Mauwa village and leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party.

A ‘Drive Through Besnu’ was held at sarpanch and BJP leader’s party plot on November 21 for prayers and tributes. The person participating in this was instructed to sit in his own car. As well as sending his prayers to the deceased family from the car.

“We decided to organize a unique Besnu. As a part of which social rituals and programs can also be organized and rules including social distance can also be followed. For that, the ‘Drive Through Besnu’ was arranged by me and my family.”, said Vijay Korat.
