Pune: Bavdhan residents seek police intervention in alcohol nuisance
Pune: Residents from Bavdhan have written to the Pimpri Chinchwad Police Commissioner to tighten norms about alcohol consumption in the area as there has been a considerable spike in crimes related to the same.
The residents have noted that there are several such spots across Bavdhan where many alcohol bottles are found every morning, they have also seen spotted people sitting in their cars and drinking alcohol.
These bottles have taken a large space on the hills, hooks and nooks. They have demanded a strict action against those consuming alcohol in cars and then littering the spaces.
Pointing ut at some locations, the residents have handed over a list of locations where the most nuisance happens, these include Pashan circle to Bharat Electronics, Aditya Shagun Mall to Lantana gate, LMD square to Flamingo, LMD square to Highway and the hill opposite D’Palace
