Rajasthan BJP MLA Kiran Maheshwari succumbs to COVID19

Rajasthan: The three-time Member of Legislative Assembly from Rajsamand in Rajasthan, Kiran Maheshwari, has died at a hospital in Gurgaon at the age of 59. She took her last breath in Medanta Hospital, Gurgaon on Sunday night.

The MLA associated with Bharatiya Janata Party had tested positive for covid-19 last month and was undergoing treatment for the same.

According to reports, Maheshwari had contracted Covid-19 during October’s municipal corporation elections. She was one of the two election in-charges of the BJP for the Kota North Municipal Corporation (KNMC), Churu MLA Rajendra Rathore being the other.
