Punit Balan | Major Ganesh mandals to join immersion procession after 6 pm on Thursday (Video)

Pune : NpNews24 Online  – Punit Balan | All major Ganpati mandals, including the Akhil Mandai Mandal, the Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Trust Ganpati Mandal, the Hutatma Babu Genu Ganpati Mandal and the Shri Jilbya Maruti Ganpati Mandal Trust, will join the immersion procession on Thursday on their scheduled time. This was revealed in a press conference addressed by Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Trust Ganpati Mandal Celebration Chief Punit Balan, Akhil Mandai Mandal’s Anna Thorat, Hutatma Babu Genu Ganpati Mandal Trust’s Balasaheb Marne, Shri Jilbya Maruti Ganpati Mandal Trust’s Bhushan Pandya and others.

 

 

Anna Thorat said, “All Ganesh mandals will try to conclude the immersion procession as early as possible by following discipline and cooperating with the civic administration and the police. The Ganpati mandals cannot join the procession before their scheduled time. All other Ganpati mandals join the procession after the Manache Ganpati proceed further. Hence, we will join the procession on the scheduled time.”

Punit Balan said, “The major mandals join the procession in the evening due to their decoration and illumination, which look attractive only after the sunset. Lakhs of devotees throng to have a look at the Ganpati mandal’s chariots from across the world. Therefore, we will join the procession in the evening to respect their sentiments. All mandals will stick to the discipline.”

Balasaheb Marne said, “The Hutatma Babu Genu Ganpati Mandal’s decoration and the immersion chariot is always enchanting. Therefore, the mandal will join the immersion procession after performing Aarti at 6.45 pm.”

Bhushan Pandya said, “The Shri Jilbya Maruti Ganpati Mandal will join the procession at 6.30 pm. As the annual practice, the Hutatma Babu Genu Mandal, Bhausaheb Rangari Trust Ganpati Mandal and Akhil Mandai Mandal will follow us in that order in the procession. We have decided this considering the sentiments of devotees. We will cooperate to conclude the procession as early as possible.”
