Pune: Youngman From Sangli Was Apprehended By Hadapsar Police For Sexually Exploiting And Threatening 22-Year-Old Girl

Pune: A young woman was taken to the hotel for lunch. After that, she was raped by mixing intoxicating substances in her cold drink and recorded that footage. This heinous incident took place in various locations of the state, including Hadapsar, Ambarnath, Sangli, etc., between September 2022 and March 2024.

In this regard, Hadapsar police swiftly apprehended the accused and handcuffed him following the complaint filed by a 22-year-old victim girl. The plaintiff girl resides in Mumbai, and she and the accused, Daryaba Sauba Sale, are from the same village of Vitthal Nagar, Jat Taluka, in Sangli District.

As per the police complaint, accused Sale contacted the girl and befriended her. After that, he lured her with a fake marriage promise and entrapped her in his love. One day, when the plaintiff was in Sangli, the accused called her to one hotel for lunch.

After reaching there, the accused mixed some intoxicating substances in her cold drink and raped her by taking her to a lodge. More shockingly, he recorded the video of that incident and further sexually exploited the girl by threatening to circulate that video on social media platforms.

Meanwhile, being tired of his harassment, the victim reduced contact with the accused. After that, the accused called the plaintiff’s mother and threatened to kill her. After that, the girl filed a complaint at Hadapsar Police Station.

Taking serious note of the complaint, Hadapsar police booked the accused under IPC 376, 376/2/N, 328, and the IT Act and arrested him. Further investigation in this case is being conducted by Police Inspector Mangal Modhwe.
