Pune: Sexual Exploitation, Extraction of Money, and Death Threats: Complaint Against Ahmednagar Resident at Viman Nagar Police Station

Pune: A police complaint has been lodged with Viman Nagar Police against one individual from Ahmednagar district for sexually exploiting a woman by luring her with a fake marriage promise. Furthermore, the accused was also charged with cheating the woman by constantly extracting money from her.

This complaint was filed by a 28-year-old girl, living in Ghorpadi, on Monday, March 11. As per the complaint, the accused has been identified as Sachin Kalyan Varthe, and he is a resident of Indiranagar, Taluka Shevgaon, District Ahmednagar.

According to the complaint, the accused, Sachin Varthe, lured the victim into his love and promised her marriage. After that, he constantly extracted money from her through cash and RTGS options to meet his expenses.

Meanwhile, the accused fraudulently took the plaintiff to lodge at Kharadi Bypass and Ahmednagar and forcibly established physical relations with the girl, promising her marriage. After that, he further sexually exploited the girl by threatening to make her nude photos and videos viral.

Shockingly, when the plaintiff asked him about the marriage, the accused assaulted the plaintiff with his hand and mentally tortured her by abusing her. Following this, the victim woman filed a police complaint at Viman Nagar Police Station.

Accordingly, police booked the accused under 376, 376(2), 323, and 506 sections of the IPC and initiated an investigation into the case under the lead of Female Sub-Inspector of Police Chaudhary.
