Pune Police MPDA Action | Pune police commissioner Ritesh Kumar initiated MPDA Act against notorious criminals, 38th action so far

Pune : NpNews24 Online  –  Pune Police MPDA Action | The Pune police commissioner Ritesh Kumar has initiated action under the MPDA Act against notorious criminals who were spreading terror within the limits of Samarth police station. The accused has been identified as Feroz alias Babbali Maqbul Khan (50) opposite Aina Masjid at Bhawani Peth in Pune. The accused is a notorious criminal in the police record and he along with his accomplices committed various crimes like attempted murder, forcible theft, causing grievous hurt, possession of weapons without license in the area of Samarth, Kondhwa and Khadak police station jurisdiction. Serious crimes like obstructing government servants from work. Around 11 FIRs have been registered against him in the last five years. His criminal activities had disturbed law and order in the area and also citizens did not dare to complain openly because of his terror.

A proposal to initiate action against the accused was submitted to the Pune police commissioner Ritesh Kumar.

After verifying the proposals and documents received the police commissioner ordered that the accused Feroz alias Babbali Khan to be lodged in Amravati Central Jail for one year.

The Pune police commissioner has so far taken action against as many as 38 notorious criminals under the MPDA Act. The commissioner said that such action will continue in the future too in order to curb the activities of the notorious criminals.
