Pune Crime News | Haveli police busted prostitution racket running under the pretext of massage center, one arrested
Pune : NpNews24 Online – Pune Crime News | A prostitution racket in the name of massage center has been busted by the Haveli police in Pune during the raid. The action has been initiated near Nanded Phata on Kirkatwadi-Singhagad Road and one person has been arrested. (Pune Crime News)
The arrested accused has been identified as Shailesh Sarjerao Dede (33) a owner of the massage center and a resident of flat number 204, Mahalaxmi Society at Kolhewadi in Singhagad Road in Pune.
Anmol Mittal, officer-in-charge of Haveli police station had received information that prostitution racket was being run at Sparsh Massage Center near Nanded Phata. Accordingly, a fake customer and one eyewitness were sent to ascertain whether the prostitution business is being conducted at the said place. At this time the officer-in-charge and other police personnel stayed near the Nanded branch. The raid was carried out after fake customers and eyewitness tipped off the team that the massage center was engaged in prostitution for extra money by giving a missed call as planned. When the police checked the massage center suspicious items were found.
The woman found there also admitted that the massage center owner was luring her into prostitution by offering extra money. Accordingly, a case has been registered against the owner Shailesh Sarjerao Dede and he has been arrested. Haveli police in-charge-officer Anmol Mittal (IPS) is further investigating the case.
