Pune police head constable jumps to death in front of train

A head constable of Pune city police allegedly committed suicide by jumping infront of train on Sunday. Police suspect domestic issue behind the extreme step.

The deceased has been identified as DP Gajarmal , who was posted with Wanowrie police station.

The incident took place on the railway track near Haveli hotel in Kalepadal, Hadapsar. ACP (Wanowrie division) Milind Patil said that Gajarmal was on sick leave since August 8.

Policemen from Wanowrie police station said that Gajarmal was very friendly with everyone and they never imagined that he would take such extreme step. The incident has sent shockwaves among policemen of Pune police commissionerate.
