Pune: One Sided Love Turns Ugly! Accused Circulated Morphed Obscene Videos of Girl Over Proposal Decline

Pune: Over the rejection of his relationship proposal, a young man, identified as Prathamesh Gulve, created a morphed obscene video of a girl and posted it on social media, with the intention of defaming her. In this case, a victim girl filed a complaint against the accused at Kondhwa police station on Thursday.

The victim girl is 19 years old and resides in the Yewalewadi area. She and the accused met each other first on Instagram. After some acquaintance, the accused one day called her to meet in Katraj Chowk, saying he had something to give her. Believing his words, the plaintiff went to the Katraj Chowk to meet the accused.

When the accused came there, he gave a small gift to the girl, proposing to her and demanding physical pleasure from her in return for his gift. When the girl refused his request and left, the enraged accused created fake obscene videos of the plaintiff and made them viral on all social media platforms.

After learning about this, the plaintiff immediately rushed to the Kondhwa police station on Thursday and lodged a complaint against the accused, demanding stricter punishment for the accused. Acting on the complaint, the police booked the accused under IPC 354(d), 500, and the IT Act and initiated further inquiry into this case. The case is being further investigated by Assistant Police Inspector Shinde.
