Pune News | Shivchhatrapati State Sports Award presented to skating player Arhant Joshi by Governor Ramesh Bais

Pune : NpNews24 Online  –  Pune News | Shivchhatrapati State Sports Award was presented to eminent sportspersons who have done a great job in the sports field. One of the awardees was the son of Retired ACP Rajendra Joshi, Arhant Rajendra Joshi who was given the award for his outstanding performance in skating. The award was presented to Arhant Joshi by Governor Ramesh Bais. (Pune News)

Sportspersons and coaches were honoured at the function. The programme was attended by Governor Ramesh Bais, CM Eknath Shinde, Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy CM Ajit Pawar, Sports Minister Sanjay Bansode, Guardian Minister Chandrakant Patil and Dilip Walse Patil.

The Shivchhatrapati State Sports Award had been announced for sportspersons who have performed well in different sporting disciplines. Awards for three years i.e. 2019-20, 2020-21 and 2021-22 had been announced. Twenty-eight sportspersons from Pune city and district were named in the list of awardees. The Shivchhatrapati State Sports Award had been announced for skating player Arhant Joshi in the athletics category. Arhant is being praised by people from all sections of society.
