Pune News | Hadapsar Vidhan Sabha constituency initiate voter registration campaign in Housing Society on Saturday & Sunday

Pune: Pune News | The ‘Housing Institutions Voter Registration Campaign’ under the special short revision program of voters lists will be conducted in housing societies of 213 Hadapsar Vidhan Sabha constituencies on 22nd & 23rd of July.

 

The Election Commission of India (ECI) has announced a special short revision program of electoral rolls on the qualifying date of January 1, 2024. The campaign has been organized under that and the eligible voters whose names are not in the voter list should be encouraged by the president of the concerned organization to attend the voter registration campaign with the documents.

 

Information about dead and migrant voters should also be given to the election officials.

 

Along with voter registration the applicants should provide proof of residence that is electricity bill, water bill, aadhaar card, bank passbook, Indian passport, registered sale deed and registered tenancy agreement. Also one of the proof of age that is birth certificate, aadhaar card, 10th and 12th certificates issued by the state education board.

 

Siddharth Bhandare, deputy collector and electoral registration officer of Hadapsar Vidhan Sabha constituency has appealed to the applicants that form 6 should be filled for new name registration, form 7 for deletion of name and form 8 for correction of entries in the voter list.

 

For online name registration, voter service portal https://voters.eci.gov.in and ‘Voter Helpline’ app should be used.
