Pune News: Action under MCOCA taken against notorious criminal Tilaksingh Tak and his 10 accomplices; 67th such action taken by CP Ritesh Kumar

PUNE: NpNews24 Online – Pune News | The police commissioner has taken action against Tilaksingh Tak and his 10 accomplices under MCOCA for looting people by threatening them with pistol and spreading terror in the limits of Hadapsar police station. CP Ritesh Kumar has so far taken action against 67 organised criminal gangs under MCOCA. (Pune News)

 

When the complainant was going home on Chandwadi Canal Road, six people who arrived by a car and two-wheelers pointed a pistol at his head. He was brutally assaulted and his wallet was forcefully taken away. The complainant was threatened that he would be killed if he lodged a complaint with the police. An FIR has been registered at the Hadapsar police station under sections 395, 397, 504, 506, Arm Act, sections 37(1) and 135 of the Maharashtra Police Act.

 

The Hadapsar police and Pune police Crime Branch unit 2 carried out a probe and arrested Ajaysingh Arjunsingh Dudhani (21), a resident of Hadapsar, Bachchansingh Jogindersingh Bhond (25), a resident of Vaidwadi, Pune, Kanwarsingh Kalusingh Tak and Ramjitsingh Ranjitsingh Tak, both 21-year-old and residents of Hadapsar. A minor boy has been apprehended. Team leader Tilaksingh Gabbarsingh Tak (28), a resident of Ramtekdi, Hadapsar, Akshaysingh Birusingh Junni (25), a resident of Hadapsar, Karansingh Rajputsingh Dudhani, a resident of Hdapsar, Lakhansingh Rajputsingh Dudhani, a resident of Hdapsar, Rahul Ravindrasingh Bhond, a resident of Hadapsar, Sohail Javed Shaikh, a resident of Hadapsar are absconding.

 

Gang leader Tilaksingh Tak formed an organised criminal gang and committed many crimes with his accomplices to establish his supremacy in Hadapsar, Ramtekdi, Anand Nagar and Wanawadi. The accused used to harbour sharp weapons and commit crimes like trying to commit murder, commit dacoity, robbery, stealing vehicles, creating terror and trying to extort money from pedestrians, threatening shopkeepers and stall owners etc. Many FIRs are registered against the gang at various police stations in Pune. The gang has created a lot of terror in Hadapsar.

 

Senior PI Ravindra Shelke has sent a proposal about including sections 3(1) (ii), 3(2), 3(4) of MCOCA, 1999 in the FIR registered against the accused at the Hadapsar police station to Addl CP Ranjan Kumar Sharma through DCP Vikrant Deshmukh. The addl CP checked the proposal and gave his approval.
