Pune district reported most number of patients in 11 municipalities

Pune: Gram Panchayats in Pune district reported a total of 76,564 coronavirus patients. Out of that, 72,594 patients were declared COVID-19 free. Besides, 1,663 deaths due to the novel coronavirus were reported so far. The local administration has declared 63 hotspots in rural areas. Out of the 63, 52 hotspots are under the jurisdiction of Gram Panchayats, while the remaining 11 hotspots are in Municipalities.

Municipalities with hotspots include Baramati, Daund, Indapur, Alandi, Chakan, Rajgurunagar, Talegaon Dabhade, Saswad, Junnar, Lonavla and Shirur.

  • Ghodegaon, Mahalunge Padwal, Avsarikhurd, Manchar in Ambegaon taluka
  • Malegaon Budruk, Pandare, Gunwadi, Morgaon in Baramati taluka
  • Nasrapur (Bhor), Kurkumbh, Yavat, Gopalwadi, Lingali, Kedgaon in Daund taluka
  • Dehu, Nanded, Narhe, Loni Kalbhor, Manjari Budruk, Kadamwakvasti, Kondhve-Dhavade, Urulikanchan, Wagholi, Kesnand, Avhalwadi in Haveli taluka
  • Bhigwan, Nirgude, Akole, Pimple in Indapur taluka
  • Narayangaon, Warulwadi in Purander taluka
  • Talegaon Dhamdhere, Ranjangaon Ganpati, Mandvagan Farata, Nhavara and Shirur Grameen in Shirur taluka
