PMPML bus conductor held for outraging girl’s modesty
Pune : NpNews24 Online – Pune Crime | An incident of a bus conductor outraging the modesty of a minor girl took place in a PMPML bus has been reported. The Bund Garden police have arrested the bus conductor. (Pune Crime)
The arrested conductor has been identified as Prashant Kisan Godge (30), a resident of Katraj-Kondhwa Road, Katraj.
A complaint has been filed by a 17-year-old girl staying in Vishrantwadi at the Bund Garden police station. The incident took place on Saturday between 11.30 am to 11.45 am on the West End cinema to Vishrantwadi stretch of Swargate to Vishrantwadi route.
According to the police, the complainant was travelling by Swargate to Vishrantwadi bus when the conductor stood very close to her. The complainant asked the conductor whether there was no other place for him to stand.
When a ticket checker entered the bus, she complained to him. The conductor, who was upset, looked at the girl angrily and outraged her modesty by touching her thrice. Hence, an FIR has been registered.
The conductor has been arrested and PSI Waghmare is probing the case.
