Pune Crime News | Thieves have fascination for Yamaha RX100: 17 motorcycles seized from two thieves, three arrested

PUNE : Pune Crime News | The craze for Yamaha RX100 can be seen even among thieves. The Vishrambaug police have seized 17 Yamaha RX100 bikes stolen by two thieves. The seized bikes are worth ₹4.5 lakh.
The Vishrambaug police have arrested two thieves for stealing Yamaha RX100 bikes and selling them in rural areas. The arrested accused have been identified as Aditya Dattatray Mankar (19), a resident of Uruli Kanchan and Mayur alias Bhaiyya Pandurang Pawar (20), a resident of Uruli Kanchan and the person who used to buy these bikes has also been arrested.

 

The arrest of the accused has thrown the lid on the crimes committed in Vishrambaug, Khadak, Faraskhana and Alankar police stations. CP Retesh Kumaarr, Joint CP Sandeep Karnik, Addl CP Pravinkumar Patil, DCP Sandeep Singh Gill, ACP Vasant Kunwar guided Sr Pi Sunil Mane, PI Dada Gaikwad, PSI Rakesh Sarde, Havaldar Harshal Dadam, policemen Mayur Bhosale, Prakash Borute, Mahavir Valte, Ssgar Gonjari, Ashish Kharat and Satappa Patil.

 

Some more crimes are likely to come to light from the accused. The police investigation has revealed that the thieves used to carry out a recce during the day and steal the vehicles parked in the parking are or on the roadside. The thieves were only stealing Yamaha RX100 bikes.
