Pune Crime News | Officer from known bank in Pune demanded sexual favour from woman employee for promotion

Pune: Pune Crime News | In a shocking incident from Lashkar in Pune a officer from a well-known bank in the city demanded a sexual favour from a woman employee to give her promotion. A woman has lodged a complaint against the bank officer at Lashkar police station in Pune.

 

As per the initial information a person holding the rank of the officer in the known bank in Pune has behaved obscenely with his employees. A 38-year-old woman has lodged a complaint against him and accordingly the police have registered a case against the bank official under Indian Penal Code (IPC) section 354A, 504 and 506.

 

A police officer from the Lashkar police station said, ” The complainant is working in one of the known banks in the camp area where the accused is the boss of the complainant. The accused used to keep the complainant and other girls in the bank at work till late. He would also threaten to fire the non-listening female employees and verbally abuse them. Not only verbal abuse but he also used to touch the complainant’s body and molest them and also ask to sleep with him to get a promotion. Based on the complaint lodged by a woman employee we have registered a case under various IPC sections and are further investigating the case.”
