Pune Crime News | MCOCA action taken against three gangs in Pimpri Chinchwad
PIMPRI : Pune Crime News | Action under MCOCA has been taken against three gangs operating in Chikhali, Sangvi and Talegaon MIDC. Police Commissioner Vinoy Kumar Choubey issued orders that action should be taken against them under MCOCA.
The MCOCA action has been taken against Chikhali gang leader Karan Ratan Rokde (25), a resident of Chikhali and his 12 aides, Sangvi gang leader Baba Saifan Shaikh (29), a resident of Pimple Gurav and five others and Talegaon MIDC gang leader Anil Jagan Jadhav (23) and five others.
Serious crimes like murder, hatching conspiracy of murder, attempt to murder, dacoity, planning dacoity, extortion, illegally gathering people and attempt to murder, causing injury, molestation and serious robbery are registered against them. These three gangs had resorted to crime to prove their superiority and for financial benefits.
The action was taken by senior PI Shankar Avtade, Dnyaneshwar Katkar, Sunil Tonpe, Ranjit Sawant, Havaldar Sachin Chavan, Vyankappa Karbhari, Durga Khade, Suhas Dangare, Sachin Nangre under the guidance of Joint CP Dr Sanjay Shinde, Addl CP Vasant Pardeshi, DCP Swapna Gore, DCP Kakasaheb Dole, ACP Balasaheb Kopnar.
