Pune Crime News: House maid steal Rs 40,000 from owner house by intoxicating him in Aundh

Pune: NpNews24 Online – Pune Crime News | The house maid stole the money kept in the house cupboard by giving a handkerchief dabbed with chloroform to the house owner. The incident happened from Monday, October 23 at 7.30pm to Tuesday, October 24 at around 10.30am at Cockpit Anant Co-operative housing society at Aundh DP Road. A case has been registered against two house maids in the case. (Pune Crime News)
The victim Pratishtha Mahagavkar (45) a resident of Thergaon has filed a complaint at Chaturshringi Police Station. Accordingly, a case under IPC sections 381, 328 and 34 has been registered against Premnath (45) and Pushpa (42) full name and address not known who were house maids in the complainant father’s house.
According to the police, “The complainant’s father lives with his maternal uncle in a society located at Aundh in DP Road. In their house, the accused works as a maid. The accused gave intoxicating drugs to the complainant’s father and maternal uncle for the purpose of stealing. Soon the complainant’s father and maternal uncle got unconscious. After that, the accused stole the cash amount of Rs. 40,000 kept in the cupboard of the house. The incident came to light on Tuesday morning. After getting information about the incident, the police visited the spot and conducted a panchnama.
The further investigation in the case is being conducted by assistant police inspector Zarekar.
