Pune Crime News | FIR of extortion registered against gangster for seeking more money from borrower

Pune : NpNews24 Online  – Pune Crime News | An FIR of extortion was registered against a notorious criminal and his aide for seeking possession of three rooms of a hostel and ₹2 lakh and issuing threats of murder despite having returned twice the amount of money borrowed on interest. The accused have been identified as Nana Balu Kudale (40), a resident of Kelewadi, Kothrud and Mangesh alias Ganesh Bhagwan Dighe (31), a resident of Kothrud. Nana Kudale is a criminal on police record and the policehad arrested him in connection with Jitendra Jagtap suicide case.

A 32-year-old businessman has lodged a complaint (90/23) at the Kothrud police station. The incident took place near Mohan Mini Market in Kothrud from April 16, 2022 to March 30, 2023.

According to the police, since the complainant had a financial problem, he borrowed ₹7 lakh for 10 per cent interest per month from Nana Kudale through Ganesh Dighe. He had returned principal, interest and penalty i.e. ₹13.81 lakh but still Nana Kudale was asking for more money. On March 30, he came to the hostel of the complainant and damaged the CCTV and demanded possession of three rooms and ₹2 lakh. Kudale threatened to kill the complainant if he did not give the money. The complainant approached the police. PSI Chavan is probing the case.
