Pune Crime News | 22-year-old stoned to death for teasing the accused sister, five arrested by Khed police

Pune: Pune Crime News | A 22-year-old man who used to tease the sister of one of the accused and also abused his mother was stoned to death in the Chandoli area in Pune eight days back. The Khed police have arrested five accused in the case and they have confessed to the murder.

 

Khed police officials said, ” A victim named Swapnil Ashok Ingule (22) a resident of Moshi in Haveli district was killed eight days back in a fruit market in Chandoli area. As the accused have left no evidence so it was becoming difficult for the police to investigate the crime, but police were suspecting that someone would have murdered Swapnil by putting a huge stone on his face. The police team thoroughly inspected the place where the incident took place. Even after inspection no evidence was found at the spot to solve the crime of murder and it was also becoming difficult to find the victim’s relatives and also the accused.”

 

Under the guidance of the sub-divisional police officer Sudarshan Patil, police inspector Rajendra Kendre and a police team were searching for the point to further investigate the case. During the investigation the police detained Shubham Ajay Kamble and Siraj Abdul (24) both the residents of Bhimnagar and Laxmannagar and three others. All the five confessed to the murder. They said that they killed Swapnil by hitting a huge stone on his face in a fit of rage because the victim was teasing his sister and abusing his mother.

 

Even after the absence of any evidence in the case assistant police inspector Rahul Lad, police constable Punaji Jadhav, Shankar Bhawari, Santosh More, Vijay Rahtekar, Praveen Gengje, Sunil Bande, Santosh Kanthale, Yogesh Bhnadare, Sagar Shingade brought the crime to light.
