Pune Crime News | Yerwada police registered case against six people including girlfriend for abetting suicide of a 28-year-old jail employee

Pune: Pune Crime News | Finally the Yerwada police succeeded in finding the motive behind the death of Amol Muralidhar Mane a 28-year-old jail employee who committed suicide by stooting himself from self-loading rifle which was with him eight days after returning to duty after getting married. He had committed suicide because of a torture he was receiving in love affair. Yerwada police has registered a case against six people including his girlfriend in the case.

 

The accused has been identified as Pallavi Dinkar Dhumal a resident of Jail Colony Dinkar Rangoba Dhumal (57) a resident of Vijay Park in Vidyanagar, Pratik Dinkar Dhumal, Rohidas Muralidhar Nigde (Age 52), Soham Nigde and Rohit Sahu Labwala.

 

Police sub-inspector Bhagwan Sadashiv Guruv has filed a complaint in Yerwada Police Station. The incident took place in Yerwada Jail on February 27 at 4:30 am.

 

According to the initial information provided by the police, Amol Mane and Pallavi Dhumal had a romantic relationship. Pallavi refused to marry Amol. Meanwhile, other accused went to Amol’s room and abused him by threatening to leave or they will try to get him suspended or fired from the job. Also, if he files a complaint with the police then they threaten to kill him because he was staying alone there. After that Amol Mane got married to another girl. He had gone to his hometown for marriage. He got married in the month of January. He came back after vacation. The accused again went to Amol and asked how he got married. They Threatened him that they will beat him and will try to defame him by filing a false case. Amol was under pressure. On February 27, he committed suicide by shooting himself from a SLR while he was on duty. A case has been registered against six people for abetting suicide by causing mental distress.

 

Police Inspector Kanchan Jadhav is investigating the case.
