Pune Crime News: 17-year-old girl molested in Dhayari area of Pune, accused booked
Pune: NpNews24 Online – Pune Crime News | The Sinhagad Road police have registered a case under POCSO Act against the accused for molesting a minor girl in Dhayari area. The incident took place between February 2022 and Wednesday, October 18 in Dhayari village. (Pune Crime News)
A 17-year-old minor girl, a resident of Takwe Budruk has filed a complaint at Sinhagad Road Police Station in this matter. The police have registered a case against Krishna Bhimrao Salunke (23) a resident near Dhareshwar Temple in Dhayari has been booked under IPC sections 354, 354(d), 323, 506 along with POCSO Act.
According to the police, “The accused has been stalking the complainant since last one year. He misbehaved with the girl saying that he wanted to get married and did things that would bring shame to her womanhood. When the victim girl refused to marry, the accused Krishna Salunkhe beat her with his hand. Also, it has been mentioned in the complaint that he abused the girlfriend of the plaintiff by calling her. As soon as the victim girl filed a complaint, we registered a case under the POCSO Act against the accused.”
The further investigation in the case is being conducted by assistant police Inspector Chandanshiv.
