Pune Crime News: 31-year-old woman molested on the pretext of recruitment in police force in Wanwadi
Pune: NpNews24 Online – Pune Crime News | In a shocking incident a 31-year-old woman from camp has been sexually assaulted at an academy in Wanwadi on the false pretext of recruiting in police force without giving an exam. A case has been registered against the academy owner. The incident took place between August 2,2023 and October 2023. The accused on the pretext of recruitment in police force has cheated many. The victim has filed a complaint at the Wanwadi Police Station. Accordingly, a case under IPC sections 376, 406, 420 and 506 has been registered against Akshay Chandrasekhar Pradhan (27) a resident of Sayyed Nagar at Mohammed Wadi in Hadapsar.
According to the police, ” The accused Akshay Pradhan owns Ajinkya Academy at Wanwadi. He assured the complainant that he is a gazette officer and that he does police recruitment without examination. He Invited her repeatedly to the academy and became close with her. Also, forcefully established a physical relationship by asking her to stay in a relationship. He threatened the complainant that if she informs anyone then she would not be recruited in police police. Also took Rs 1.30 lakh and Samsung phone worth Rs 14,500 and an iPhone worth Rs 59,000 from the plaintiff. The accused by showing the photos of him felicitating boys and girls who have joined police has extorted money from others too. In fact, the accused has not recruited any boy or girl in the police force mentioned the complainant in her complaint
The Wanwadi police are conducting the further investigation in the case.
